Composition: 3 ring bit with standard 17 mm thick cannons made of German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a relaxing and solid alloy.

Effect: this bit has a gag action. The German 3 ring bit is particular as it prevents from any pinching around the usual friction areas. The lever action is progressive and slightly softer than the lever action of a classic 3 ring bit.

Tips: this bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom ring, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. The twisted cannons give more action to this bit so the rider can also have more action and be firmer in the communication with the horse.
